Heath Mills
Heath is the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Cricket Players' Association (NZCPA) and the Chair of the Federation of International Cricketers' Association (FICA). The Cricketers' Trust, a registered Charity. He worked with the players to establish the NZCPA in 2001 and was a key part of negotiating the first collective agreement between New Zealand Cricket (NZC), the six Major Associations and the players in 2002. The NZCPA has grown considerably since that time and in addition to its player advocacy and welfare work it has established a past players membership category with associated events and activities. |
Martin Snedden | CNZM
Martin is a former Blackcap (1980-1990) who brings a wealth of 'business of sport' experience. Martin has been Chief Executive of New Zealand Cricket (NZC), Rugby New Zealand 2011 (which delivered RWC 2011), Tourism Industry Association NZ, Duco Events and leader of NZC's One Cricket project. He is current Chair of NZC, and a director on the boards of ICC and Women in Sport Aotearoa. Martin is also a qualified lawyer and was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2012 New Year’s Honours List. |
Scott Weenink
Scott is a former first-class cricketer and representtive rugby player. Scott, who has a Masters Degree in Law from Oxford University is currently a Director of Generate KiwiSaver Funds Management, Enable Networks, Asset Finance Limited and the New Zealand Cricket Players' Association. |
Helen Watson
Helen is a former New Zealand White Fern (1999-2008) including the winning World Cup side in 2000. She has also played representative rugby, touch rugby and hockey. Helen has more than 20 years of financial and commercial experience across a broad sector of industries, most recently CFO roles in retail hospitality. As a former player Helen is keen to ensure that the appropriate support is available to those who need it. |
Ronald Cardwell
Ronald is an accountant speciallising in insolvency work. As a former player he has the understanding, interest, care and welfare of players as an important part of his responsibility for the game. Ronald also writes about the game and his company, The Cricket Publishing Company, has published 25 books. |
